Contemprary History Lectures Notes

Instructor: Steve Killian killians@thewalkerschool.org

The following links take you to PowerPoint presentations. You will need Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or greater OR the free PowerPoint viewing program.

To all students: Much of this information is in outline form. Having access to these presentations may be a great assistance, but they are not a complete substitute for the detailed notes you should obtain while in class.

For those students who wish to print out the presentations:

After you click on the link, open the file, and click on "Print," you will want to change the print parameters. Instead of "Slides," make it print "Handouts."

Then chose the number of slides per page you desire 1-9. If you cannot change the number of slides per page, you are not printing "Handouts."

Next, chose either "Grayscale" or Pure Black and White" instead of "Color."

Finally, on the "Properties" menu, chose "Draft" instead of "standard" or High." Following these instructions will save you reams of paper and many dollars in ink costs.
