Studies Courses
Requirements: Three Social Studies
units are required for graduation including
one year World History, to be taken in grades
nine or ten, and U.S History. While not required,
students seeking admission to colleges in the
University System of Georgia are encouraged
to complete a semester of Government and Politics
and a semester of Economics.
